Platform role
CaQeh is a peer-to-peer liquidity marketplace and technology platform that connects users seeking to complete payments using existing licensed payment rails, including mobile money services, banks, and card networks. Rather than moving, holding, or safeguarding customer funds, CaQeh facilitates the matching of participants so transactions can be completed through regulated financial institutions and payment providers. The platform does not take custody of customer funds or operate as a payment service provider, bank, or money transmitter. All payments are executed over the applicable licensed payment infrastructure in accordance with the terms and requirements of the relevant financial service providers.
1. Information We Collect
Account information: Name, email address, phone number, country of residence.
Identity verification: Government-issued ID documents submitted for KYC compliance.
Marketplace and payment-status data: Payment-method preferences, timestamps, counterparty details you choose to share, payment references or status information, and wallet addresses where applicable.
Location data: Approximate or precise location when using Find Cash or Cash Agent features (only when you grant permission).
Device information: Browser type, IP address, and device identifiers for security purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and improve the Service; verify identity where applicable; facilitate participant matching and marketplace status updates; detect and prevent fraud; comply with applicable legal obligations; send security and marketplace notifications (including email OTP and optional self-host notification channels such as ntfy for operators); and review reports concerning use of the platform.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with: identity verification providers (Ballerine) for KYC processing; law enforcement when required by law or court order; blockchain networks (transaction hashes only - no personal data is stored on-chain); and the licensed payment provider you select when information is needed to complete a payment. CaQeh does not receive, hold, or settle that payment. The provider's privacy notice and terms apply to its processing.
4. Data Security
We protect your data with TLS encryption for communications, encrypted database storage, access controls, rate limiting, fraud detection, and regular security reviews. CaQeh does not hold transaction funds.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active and thereafter only for the period required by applicable law, legitimate security needs, or dispute handling. KYC documents are retained according to applicable requirements. You may request deletion of your account and personal data subject to legal retention obligations.
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
You have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; export your data in a portable format; withdraw consent for optional processing; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

7. Cookies
We use essential cookies only: an authentication token (httpOnly, secure) and a CSRF protection token. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
8. Changes to This Policy
We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
